WARD, LEE WALTER - It is with heavy heart that the family of Lee Walter Ward, husband of Helen (Lyons) Ward, announces his sudden death, at home on Sunday, August 18, 2013. Born on April 13, 1943 in Blissfield, NB, he was the son of the late William and Sadie (Porter) Ward. Survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Helen; sons, William and Jody (Trudy), Fredericton; daughters, Mary Beth MacDonald (Kevin), Glace Bay, NS and Sandra (Duane) Munn, New Maryland; grandchildren, Ashley and Haley Ward, Kevin and Matthew MacDonald; brother, Wayne (Linda) Ward; sisters, Maise (Perley) Arbeau, Rita Porter and Carol (Glen) Gilks; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, brothers, Earl, Eddie, Dean and Glen; sister, Gertie McAleer. Lee was employed with Ashley Colter (1961), for many years as a Millwright. He enjoyed volunteering at the Central NB Woodsman Museum with his girls, wheeling and working outside. The joy of his life were his grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 2 pm at the Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Ron Carroll. Interment will take place in Cameron Hill Cemetery.
