Peacefully, with her family by her side, at the Beach Grove Home on Monday, August 19, 2013 of Mrs. Joan Lund (nee MacIntyre) of Scotchfort, age 76 years.
Beloved wife of Eddie and dear mother of Chris (Anne). She is also lovingly remembered by her sister, Neta (Jim) Flemming; brother, Buddy (Jane) MacIntyre; brothers and sisters- in-law, Helen Trainor (Allan deceased), Louis (Marie) Lund, Jeanne Gauthier MacKenzie, Rita (Roger) Arsenault; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, John J. and Marion (Steele) MacIntyre; mother and father-in-law, Leo and Irene Lund; brothers, Clarence, Cy, Reggie and Albert MacIntyre; sisters, Winnie Murphy, Kay McNicholas, Theresa MacDonald and Evelyn MacDonald; half brothers, William, Vince and Valentine MacIntyre; half sister, Mary Doucette; and brother-in-law, Joe Lund.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Friday morning, then transferred to St. Bonaventure's Church, Tracadie, for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Bonaventure's Parish Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
