Peacefully, with her family at her side, at Beach Grove Home on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013, of Mrs. Mary Terese MacKinnon (nee Ledwell) of Parkdale and St. Peter’s Bay, age 80 years.
Beloved wife of the late John H. MacKinnon. Dear mother of Barbara and Heather (Tom) Harland. Loving Nanny to Erica, Andrew and Jonathon. Lovingly remembered by her brother, Tom Ledwell (Darlene Craig); sisters-in-law, Carolyn Ledwell, Helen Coffin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Tom and Anna Ledwell; brothers and sisters, Richard (Claire), Jean (Reg) MacAdam, Sister Catherine Ledwell, CSM, Bill (Adeline), Frank; sister-in-law, Mary Elaine Ledwell; and brother-in-law, Junior Coffin.

Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Saturday morning, then transferred to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Members of St. Pius X Church CWL will gather at the funeral home on Friday at 1:45 p.m. to hold prayers for their late member.
In lieu of flowers donations in Mary’s memory may be made to Beach Grove Home Memorial Fund, St. Pius X Church or P.E.I. Hospice Palliative Care.
