SPRINGHILL - It is with deep sadness that we must announce the sudden passing of Michael Anthony House, age 55 of Springhill, NS and formerly of Orillia, Ontario. Anthony passed away in his home on Friday, August 2, 2013. Born in Orillia, Ontario, he was the son of the late Nelly Crowe, (Ontario) and the late Eugene House, (Ontario).
As a young boy Anthony worked on the home farm until moving to British Columbia where he continued farming until he moved to Manitoba, where he worked as a restaurant cook. During his working life Anthony changed occupations and became a security guard. While working as a security guard he saved a man from certain peril. He remained a security guard until moving to Springhill, NS.
Anthony is survived by his children, Kaela House, Springhill, Michael House Jr., Edmonton, Alberta, Kyle House, Edmonton, Alberta, Richard House, Timmins, Ontario, Nick House, Radium Hot Springs, British Columbia, Courtney House, Medicine Hat, Alberta, Vanessa House, Radium Hot Springs, British Columbia; common law partner, of 22 years, Lynn Leblanc, Pugwash, NS.
He was predeceased by both parents and two brothers.
