Hodgson, Florence Edna – 90, Truro passed away Thursday, August 22, at the Aberdeen Regional Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Brookside, NS she was a daughter of the late Aubrey and Mahala (Rhyno) Bartlett.
Edna is survived by her brothers, John (Helen), Truro; Cecil (Floris), Ontario; sister, Emma Jarvis, Truro; sisters-in-law, Edie Bartlett, Truro; Ora Bartlett, Ontario; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard; brothers, Elmer; Graham; Edgar; Herbie; Eric; sisters, Marie; Mildred; Nellie.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. At Edna’s request, cremation has taken place and interment will be held in O Perfect Peace Cemetery, Milo, Alberta. Donations may be made in Edna’s memory to the Victorian Order of Nurses, Truro Branch.
