At the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home on Friday, Aug. 23, 2013, of Carl Wesley MacDonald of Crapaud, age 70 years. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Molyneaux) MacDonald. Dear father of Todd (Sarah Grace) MacDonald, Summerside, and Carlene (Vince Jay) MacDonald, Charlottetown. Loving grandfather of Jensen Wood, Josie and Kate MacDonald, and step-granddaughter Jillisa Jay. Also survived by sisters Blanche Jewell, Verna McKenna, Jennie Mayhew, Dot Jewell, Ethel MacDonald (Wylie Baglole), Wanda Lord, Dianne (Garnet) Stewart, brothers Garnet (Jean) MacDonald, John (Mae) MacDonald, brothers-in-law Wayne (Luann) Molyneaux, Donnie (Cheryl) Molyneaux, sister-in-law Loretta Molyneaux, and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Roy and Florence MacDonald, brothers Preston (Cora), Hollis (Lorraine), Lloyd (Marion), and brothers-in-law Vance Molyneaux, Davis Jewell, Victor McKenna, Earl Mayhew, and Fred Jewell. Resting at the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud, with visiting hours Monday, 6-9 p.m. Funeral service Tuesday, Aug. 27, from St. John's Anglican Church, Crapaud, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers and if so desired, memorial donations may be made to St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery or Palliative Care Unit at the Prince Edward Home.
