PICTOU/LITTLE HARBOUR ROAD – Addison Roscoe “Jock” Underwood, 87, of St. Andrew’s Street, Pictou, and formerly of Little Harbour Road, Pictou County, passed away August 25, 2013 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Georgefield, NS, he was a son of the late William and Helen (MacLaren) Underwood.
Jock enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, and TV bingo.
Surviving are children: Shirley Gillen, Westville; Caroline Worthen, New Glasgow; Addie (Nora) Underwood, Canso; Marjorie Murphy, Hillside; Neil (Brenda) Underwood, Montreal; Francis Underwood, New Glasgow; Susan (Ray MacNeil) Underwood, Pictou; George (Martha) Underwood, Tatmagouche; Wolfred (Sam) Underwood, Quebec; 16 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; nephews, Sam and George Underwood.
He was predeceased by his wife, Lina Catherine Jean (Worthen); and son, Billy.
Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to drop in and celebrate Jock’s life from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday at 64 St. Andrew’s Street, Pictou.
