VOROS, Maria Rose – 76yrs, of New Albany, NS passed away peacefully on Friday, August 23, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Hungary, she was a daughter of the late Jakob and Elizabeth (Hofgezan) Kreituzer. Maria loved to cook and bake and enjoyed dancing, bingo and fishing. She loved working in her garden and doing crafts. Maria dedicated her life to raising her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Stephen (Istvan )Voros; daughters, Susan Voros (Fred Thibeault), Middleton; Anna (Richard) Brooks, New Albany; Joan (Kevin) Feener, Wilmot; Mary MacLean, Wetaskiwin; sons, Joey (Terri) Voros, Calgary; Stephen (Suzie) Voros, Wetaskiwin; Jacob Voros, Edmonton; grandchildren, Troy (Rebecca) Voros, Kelowna, BC; Jennifer Voros, Calgary; Nicole Thibeault, Middleton; Ryan Thibeault, Middleton; Melinda Bent (Vincent), Moncton; Matthew Brooks (Vanessa), Aylesford; Josh Brooks (Brittany), New Albany; Jonathan (Melanie) Feener, Torbrook; Amanda Feener (Brian), Bramber, Hants Co.; Adam Feener (Aimee), Fort McMurray; Eric (Jolene) Voros, Wetaskiwin; Laurie Voros, Camrose, AB; Christopher Voros, Wetaskiwin; Nicholas MacLean (Chandy), Kelowna, BC; Samantha MacLean (Mitchell), Newfoundland; Zander Voros and Elijah Voros, both of Edmonton; great grandchildren, Misaudti, Tausha, Troy, Landon, Paisley, Tony, Kimberley, Kendra, Camden, Ryan, Adin, Kiara, Traven, Jade and Annabella; and several brothers and sisters in Hungary. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service was held Friday, August 30, 2013 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448 with a reception for family and friends that followed the service.
