Peacefully, after a long battle with cancer, at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home on Thursday, September 4, 2008, of Freda Louise Saunders (nee Yeo) of Sherwood, age 74. Beloved and much loved wife of Mervil Saunders. Loving mother of Paul (Faye) and David (Denise) Saunders. Sadly missed by her beautiful granddaughters, Melissa, Meghan, Danielle and Isabelle. Daughter of the late Janet (nee Platts) and Edward Yeo. Beloved sister of Elmer (Marguerite) Yeo, Phyllis (Bill) Cole and Florence (Edwin) MacPhail. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephew. Resting at the MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. If so desired, memorials to the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
