CAISSIE, EDGAR - 1931 - 2013 - Edgar Caissie passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, September 1, 2013. Born in St. Philippe on March 1, 1931, he was the son of the late Belonie and Bessie (Caissie) Caissie. Edgar is survived by five daughters and two sons. Diane Traverse (Bill), Cecile Hester (Bill), Yvette Belliveau (Late Louis), Edgar Caissie Jr. (Audrey), Barbara Hache (Roger), Michel Caissie (April), and Lucille Caissie (Gary), two sisters; Georgina Thibodeau and Irene Rocks, two brothers; Albenie (Rita) and Fred, 14 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and by the mother of his children, Therese. Edgar was predeceased by four sisters; Lina, Annie, Alice, Exelda and five brothers; Hector, Alyre, Emile, Timothy, Gerard and daughter-in-law, Brenda and by his great granddaughter Hannah.
A private family service will be held. A Celebration of Edgar's Life will held in the Garden View Reception Room at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 from 1:30pm until 3:30pm .Interment will be at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens Flowers gratefully declined in favor of donations to the charity of your choice.
