Passed away peacefully in the Palliative Care Unit at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Laura Murphy of Summerside, at the age of 77 years. She leaves to mourn: her loving and devoted husband of 58 years, Earl; daughter, Vivian Loder (Terry); sons: John and Todd (Julie); grandchildren: Stacey Lynn Christopher (Fred), Mallory Loder, Bruce Murphy, Brandon (Tara) Murphy, Chad Murphy; ­great-grandchildren: Wesley Christopher, Chloe and Emily Murphy; sisters: Nora Cheeseman, Annie Christianson; ­brother, Jack Hann (Deloris); sister and brothers-in-law: Violet Wheeler, John (Norma) Murphy, Gladys Sheppard, Ruby Harrison, Lottie (Randy) Janes, as well as a very large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her loving daughter, Trudy; parents John & Ann Hann, sister, Mary Cheeseman; mother & father-in-law, Robbie & Gladys Murphy. Friends may visit St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Summerside Friday, September 6th from 10 a.m. - 12 Noon, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Charlene Laing officiating.
