It is with great sadness that the family of the late Nora Leah Howlett announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Thursday September 5, 2013 at the age of 81 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories: her loving ­husband Raymond of 57 years; son, Brian (Cathy); daughter, Betty (Walter); grandchildren: Nicole, Blair, Holly and Brent; sisters: Joyce Rowsell, Jean Simms, Dora Clarke (Don), Margaret Brake (Ned), Joyce Simms (Fred); brother, Rick Simms (Joy); sister-in-law, Isobel Simms; brother-in-law, Ford Flight; special friend, Eileen Russell, as well as a large circle of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by parents, Cornelieus & Meta Simms; sister, Joan Flight; brothers: George Simms, Glen Simms and Walter Simms; son-in-law, Lorne Musseau and brother-in-law, Bill Rowsell. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road, on Saturday September 7, 2013 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at Country Haven Funeral Chapel on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Canon Roberta Woodman officiating. At Nora’s request, cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
