It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of our dear mother on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013.
Born in North Sydney, Kathleen was the daughter of the late Annabelle (Dunphy) and John Morrison.
Kathleen will be sadly missed by her daughters, Kathleen (Dan) Edmond, Oromocto, N.B., Annette Dieppe, N.B. and Frances, Glace Bay; sons, Michael, Glace Bay and Neil (Shirley), Pleasantville, N.S. Also surviving are numerous, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great- great-grandchildren.
Kathleen was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Kathleen was predeceased by her parents; husband, Neil; son, William; daughter, Deborah; grandson, Jeremy; brothers, Mike and Bill; sisters, Flo, Mary, Bette and Anne.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013 from 3-7 p.m. in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 16 Reserve St., Glace Bay. A funeral mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 9, 2013 at St. Anthony’s Church, Glace Bay with Fr. Norman MacPhee officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. A luncheon will follow in parish hall.
Family flowers only please. Donations in Kathleen’s memory may be made to St. Anthony’s Parish Cemetery or a charity of choice.
