Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family, at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, on September 5, 2013, Sarah Gibbons, of St. Vincent’s, S.M.B., aged 86 years. Predeceased by her husband Peter (1995) and parents Patrick and Veronica Woodfine. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her children: Maurice (Mary), Mary (Lawrence George), Vonnie (Leonard Molloy), Margie (Pat Hicks), Basil (Debbie Horsman), Joanne (Fabian Finlay), Joey, Ann Marie (Shane O’Dell), 17 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, brothers Frank and Maurice, sister Rita Hall, sister-in-law Theresa Gale and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends including, special friends Austin and Mary Ryan. Resting at the Fr. Battcock Memorial Chapel, St. Vincent’s, on Saturday, September 7, from 2-9 p.m., Sunday, September 8, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Monday, September 9, beginning at 11 a.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, at 2 p.m., at Sacred Heart Church, St. Vincent’s.
