Mrs. Audrey Simms of Carbonear passed away at her private home in Carbonear on Sunday, September 8, 2013. Mrs. Simms was 56 years old. She leaves to mourn her loving family: Husband Lester Simms, Sons Bradley (Sonya) and Colin (Stacey), Brother William (Millicent), Brother-in-Law Victor (Roslyn), Sisters-in-Law Rosemary and Heather (Cameron), Nieces and Nephews and a large number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by: Parents Stanley and Mary Mercer, and Parents-in-Law James and Joyce Simms. The funeral service took place at Bethany United Church, Carbonear on Wednesday, September 11, 2013, 2 p.m. Inurnment will take place at a later date. The family received relatives and friends at Slade's Funeral Home, Powell Drive, Carbonear.
