Passed away suddenly at his residence on Bell Island, on September 10, 2013 at the age of 73. Predeceased by his loving wife Marjorie, parents John and Bridget, sister Elizabeth, father-in-law Thomas Coombs, brother-in law Gerald, step-brother-in-law Henry (Marge), sisters-in-law Judy Burt, Joan Sweeney. Leaving to mourn with loving memories his children: Angus Jr., Gerry (Tina), Rhonda (Darrell); grandchildren: Brandon and Kendall; brothers: Ron (Theresa), Bob; mother-in-law Mary Coombs; brothers-in-law Bill Coombs (Sheila), Don Coombs (Lucy), Dan Burt; sister-in-law Mary Barnes (Gord), a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and former co-workers with the Bell Island Ferry Service. Resting at Pendergast’s Funeral Home, Bell Island. Visitation on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at 6-9 p.m. and Friday, September 13, 2013 from 12-9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Michael’s Church, Bell Island with interment to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations can be made in his memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
