Passed peacefully away surrounded by loving family, after a long illness, Thomas Joseph Walsh. Beloved husband of Judy, father of James, Brent and Heather and brother to Elizabeth, Leo, Audrey, Sheila and John, step-son of Florence and of course not to be forgotten master to Draco. Tom was preceded in death by mother Joan and father Leo of Point Verde, Newfoundland. Tom’s struggles through his illness was immeasurably eased by the kindness and loving care provided by everyone on three north east at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, especially the nursing staff; as well as the care he received at the Oromocto Public Hospital. It is not possible to express the gratitude felt by the family for the years of dedicated professionalism and kindness shown. An anchor in a terrible storm to be sure. A gathering will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Saturday, September 14, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Lyme Disease Association or the Alzheimer Society.
