It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bertha Alexander announce her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Center on Thursday, September 12th, 2013 at the age of 90 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her three sons: John (Irene) in Moncton, New Brunswick, Tom (Anne) in London, Ontario and Allan (Mary) in Kippens; her brothers: Norbett O’Quinn in Kippens and Melvin O’Quinn in St. John, New Brunswick, her sisters: Agnes in Kippens, Elizabeth in St. John’s, Lorna and Patricia both in the United States, her grandchildren, great grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her husband Samuel and son Hilary. The family will be receiving friends on Monday, September 16th 2013 from 7-9 p.m. from Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive in Stephenville. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, September 17th at 10 a.m. from St. Stephen’s Parish on West Street with interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery on the Hansen Highway.
