It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lucy Lewis announce her passing on Saturday, September 14th, 2013 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 83 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Dave (Barbara), Fred (Sharon), Roger (Anne), Max (Debbie) and Harold (Linda); grandchildren: Jason (Krista), Marika Wiseman (Michael), Heather, Cindy Leslie (Andy), Monique (Chris), Holly, Leslie (Jamie), Vicki (Steve); great grandchildren: Chelsea, Bella, Ericka, Matthew, Jack, William and Blake; sister Eileen Parsons; sister-in-law Margaret Young; special little friend Ethan George; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband William Thomas (2009), son Tony, granddaughter Tracy, daughter-in-law Hedy, parents Mary and Fred Samms, brother’s Max, Walter and Reginald, sisters Jessie and Susie. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Monday, 7-9:00 p.m., Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, 10 am to 11 am. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 18th at 2:00 p.m. from St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Curling with the interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery with Reverend Rosemarie Payne officiating. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
