JONES, CORA - Cora Bernadine Jones passed away at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville, Monday, September 16, 2013, at the age of 91 years. Born in Woodstock, N.B., March 25 1922, Cora was the oldest daughter of the late Charles and Alma (Stairs) Moore. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles C. Jones in 2002 after 62 years of marriage. Cora is survived by three daughters Frances Foss of Calgary, Alberta; Sharon Wright (Ken), Hay Settlement, NB; Brenda Jones Brown, Hay Settlement, NB; four grandchildren, Pamela White, Robin Foss (Dee), Michael Wright (Sonja), Timothy Wright (Paula); five great grandchildren, Christopher and Alyssa White, Matthew and Sarah Wright, Marcus Vaillancourt; one great-great grandson Kingsley White; one brother Harry Moore (Effie), Comox, BC; sisters, Jennie (William) Barker, Fredericton, NB and Sheila (Clair) Craig of Nashwaaksis, NB; several nieces and nephews.
Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB with visiting on Friday, September 20, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2 pm from the Scott Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Justin Kim will be officiating with interment in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery.
