“It’s a Grey Foggy Day” With heavy hearts, we the family of the late Charles Burton are saddened to announce his sudden passing on Monday, September 16, 2013 in his 60th year. Leaving to mourn his soul mate and best friend, wife Donna (nee Pretty); sons: Robert (Carolyn), Grand Prarie, AB, Jeffery (Lisa Crowell), Halifax, NS, and Bradley (Gina Welsh), Corner Brook; grandchildren Sam and Scott; sisters: Ellen (Wilf Penny), Judy (Ross Fudge), and Dianne (Jeryl Alexander); brother Dean (Cindy); mother-in-law Jean Pretty; sisters-in-law: Louise, Barbara (David Lewis), Marilyn Pretty, and Sharon Pretty (Rhonda Rowsell); brothers-in-law: Robert Pretty, Keith (Cheryl) Pretty, and Paul (Patrina) Pretty; as well as special nieces & nephews, other relatives and many great friends and co-workers. He was predeaceased by parents Charlie and Louise; brother Glenn; father-in-law Robert Pretty; brothers-in-law: Albert and Floyd. Cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Friday between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place from Memorial United Church in Curling on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Marilyn Avery. Interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the SPCA.
