It is with great sadness that the families of Jack Moores announce his passing at the Corner Brook long term care, in Corner Brook, NL, on Friday September 20th, 2013, at the age of 88 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his 8 daughters; Marion (Gerald) Corbett, Marie (Bernard) Dingwell, Shirley (Ted) Cross, Betty (Dave) Street, Diane (Victor) Rice, Judy (Kurt) Inder, Wanda (Rick) Caravan, & Debbie (Pat) Noseworthy, 3 sons; Lloyd (Josephine) Moores, John (Judy) Moores, & Wm Jr (Shirley) Moores, his 23 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, & 4 great great grandchildren, Jack was predeceased by his wife; Ella nee Pelly, his parents; Robert & Dorothy Moores, sisters; Amy Baldwin, & Gladys (Chesley) Janes, his sister in law; Viola (Otto) King, also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family & friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, on Saturday, September 21st, 2013, the hours 7-9 pm, & continuing on Sunday, September 22nd, 2013, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Monday, September 23rd, 2013, from the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church on Bennett’s Road Deer Lake, NL, at 2: pm with Pastor Grimes & Pastor Coles, officiating with the burial to follow at the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery on Wight's Road, Deer Lake, NL.
