MOFFITT, ALTON HENRY - Alton H. Moffitt of Harvey Station, NB passed away September 20, 2013 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Alton was born in Harvey Station, NB in 1932, a son of the late George and Lizzie (Craig) Moffitt. He is survived by two daughters, Gloria Ensor, Sylvan Lake, AB and Carol Moffitt (Terry), Hanwell, NB; a grandson, Jack Ensor, Colorado; three great grandchildren, Anna, Kate and Wyatt; a sister-in-law, Blanche Moffitt, Harvey Station, NB and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Alton was predeceased by his wife Genevieve H. (Williams) Moffitt in 2001, an infant daughter, Elaine and his brother, Milton Moffitt in May of 2013.
Although there will be no visiting hours, friends are welcome to attend a funeral service to be held at Swan Funeral Chapel, 1826 Route 3, Harvey Station, NB on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Basil Lowery officiating. Interment will be in Harvey Settlement Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Young People’s Hall of Knox Presbyterian Church.
