Peacefully and surrounded by his family, the death occurred at his home in Cardigan on September 11, 2008, of the Honourable W. Bennett Campbell, PC, MP, MLA and Village Commissioner, age 65. Left to mourn his passing is his loving wife of 38 years, Shirley (Chaisson). Remains resting at All Saints Parish Center, Cardigan. A service of celebration and thanksgiving will take place on Monday, September 15, 2008, at All Saints Parish, Cardigan, with funeral mass at 2 p.m. Interment in All Saints Parish Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the North Shore Funeral Home in Morell.
