Stephen Wayne Campbell, 58, of Belle Marche, Inverness County, died Sept. 20, 2013, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney, N.S.
Born in Los Angeles, Calif., he was the son of Angie Pritchett and the late Herbert Wilburn Campbell.
Steve was a loving husband, father and grandfather. His passions were his yardwork, garden, flowers, and above all, his family. He had a great respect for mother nature and enjoyed the outdoors to the fullest.
A special thank you goes out to special friends, Bobby, Karen and their daughters, Courtney and Brittany for the love and support shown to Steve and Geraldine during his illness.
He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Bourgeois; mother, Angie (Paul) Pritchett, California; son, Christopher Nataly Campbell, L'Assomption, Que.; daughter, Manja Campbell, St.-Jean, Que.; brother, Philip Campbell, Arizona; sister, Barbara (Leif) Campbell Wiik, California; grandchildren, Jeremy, Annabelle and Jonathan; special nieces, Tara, Cinthia and Penny.
Visitation 2-4 p.m., Tuesday at Cheticamp Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 4 p.m., Tuesday. Interment in the parish cemetery.
