DUBÉ, SR JEANNETTE - Sister Jeannette Dubé, n.d.s.c., in religion Marie-Gaétane, of Maison-mère des Religieuses Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur, Moncton, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2013 at the convent where she resided following a short illness. She was 87 and in her 70th year of her religious life. Born January 7, 1926 in Drummond, she was the daughter of the late Léon and Cécile (Fournier) Dubé. Besides her religious family, she is survived by one sister, Bernadette; two brothers: Léo and Aurèle, as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five sisters: Ida, Réjeanne, Régina, Rita and Marie-Ange; three brothers: Réginald, Albert and Valdor.
Sister Jeannette will be resting at the Notre-Dame-d’Acadie Pavillion of the Maison-mère, 125 King Street, Moncton (Godfrey Lane entrance) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and on Wednesday from 9 am until the funeral mass. Solemn Vespers will be held on Tuesday evening at 7 pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 in the Maison-mère chapel at 10 am. Interment will be in Memramcook.
