MARR, Steven Ralph “Steve” – 45, Salmon River, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, September 22, 2013, at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born January 5, 1968, he was a son of Jean (Moore) Marr, Truro, and the late Sherman Marr. Steve enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing, watching NASCAR and spending time with his family and friends. Along with his mother, Steve is survived by his brothers, Bruce Marr, Truro; Christopher MacLean (Angela), Truro Heights; sister, Heather (Terry) Whidden, Bible Hill; nieces, Katelyn MacLean, Alicia Whidden; nephews, Ryan MacLean, Dustin Whidden; special friend, Melanie Harnish, Truro. Along with his father, he was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Stella Moore; paternal grandparents, John and Alice Marr. Special thanks are extended to Drs. McKenney and Blair and the nurses in ICU at Colchester East Hants Health Centre. All are welcome to attend a graveside funeral service and interment that will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, September 28, 2013, in Harmony Cemetery, Pastor Glenn Ronson officiating.
