The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit, Prince Edward Home, on Tuesday, September 24, 2013, of Mr. Doug D. MacArthur of Charlottetown, age 71 years. He is survived by his partner, Mary Weili Ma and her son, Yubo Zhou; brother, Roy (Glennas) MacAthur; brothers and sisters-in-law, W.J.R. Mac MacDonald, Donna MacArthur, Lois Hooley, Don (Eleanor) Shaw; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Pam (nee Shaw) MacArthur; parents, Ted and Eva (nee Taylor) MacArthur; sisters, Eileen MacDonald and Jean Doyle (Dick); and his brother, George MacArthur. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in Sherwood Cemetery.
