(nee Dawe) 4 August, 1920 - 12 March, 2008. Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at Carbonear General Hospital, Elizabeth Osborne of Blaketown. Predeceased by husband David, 1990; daughter Rose, 1994; son-in-law Murdock; two grandsons: Brian and Craig Culleton; son-in-law Paddy; parents, Alfred and Mary Dawe; three brothers: Alfred, William, Stanley. Leaving to mourn two sons: Bill (Margaret), Alfred (Karen); four daughters: Elizabeth (Percy Greenslade), Mary, Alma (Ralph O'Quinn), Dawn (Gordon Reid); 19 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one brother, Henry Dawe, Corner Brook; brother-in-law Fred Osborne (Winnifred); also many nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at Holloway's Funeral Home, Whitbourne. Visitation Thursday and Friday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. - 12 noon. Funeral service will be held from Trinity Bay South Salvation Army Citadel, Dildo on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Interment at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Blaketown.
