STAIRS, ELDRIDGE MERTON - Eldridge M. Stairs of Fredericton, NB passed away September 28, 2013 at Wauklehegan Manor, McAdam, NB. Eldridge was born at Campbell Settlement, NB a son of the late Hillard and Martha (Schriver) Stairs. He is survived by his children, Rosemarie Derkson of Fredericton, NB, Eldridge Stairs Jr., Malcolm Stairs (Wendy) and Stephen Stairs (Gael), all of British Columbia; his grandchildren Tony (Kaye), Scott (Laura), Jeff (Jayda), Kristy (Joe), Carly (Cody), Shelby (Brent) and Kevin; nine great grandchildren; his brother, Harold Stairs (Shirley), Burtts Corner, NB and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Eldridge was predeceased by his wife, Marjorie D. (MacDonald) Stairs, three sisters, Elva Price, Laura Dunlop and Velma Peterson and two brothers, Dowie and George Stairs.
Family and friends will gather at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Wednesday morning, October 2, 2013 at 11 a.m. and then proceed to the Lenentine Cemetery where a graveside service will be conducted by Rev. Wayne Schriver.
