MAGEE, DORIS - Doris E. Magee (Wilson) wife of the late J. Russell Magee, passed away October 3, 2013 at Lincourt Manor, St. Stephen. Born on June 30, 1925 in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late James W. and Ethel (McCluskey) Wilson. Survived by her children, Debbie Gregory (Ron), Halifax and Joanne Hartford (Phil) St, Stephen; grandchildren, Tanya Leights (Brad), Tim Gregory (Crystal Martin), Meagan Hartford (Justin Flowers), Doug Hartford (Emily DiPaolo), and Alicia Denyer (Tom); great grandchildren, Rebecca, Chloe and Jordyn Leights; special sister-in-law Marion Wilson and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband she was predeceased by her son, Greg; brothers, Byard, Ronald, Ernest, Howard and sister, Fern. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Resting at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7425) with visiting on Sunday, October 6, 2013 from 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, October 7 at 2 pm. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Alzheimer Society or to a charity of one’s choice.
