Peacefully, with her family at her side, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, October 3, 2013 of Mrs. Lucy Ann Redmond (nee MacVicar) of Charlottetown and formerly of St. Andrew's, N.B., age 62 years.
Beloved wife of Brian and dear mother of Maureen. Sister of Laura MacVicar and George (Rose) MacVicar. Sister-in-law of Lloyd Redmond (Deb Harrison), Eleanor (Hal) Snow, Paula (Glenn) MacInnis, Patsy (Dan) Brun, Allan (Denyse) Redmond and Brenda (Nelson) Dougay. Lucy is also lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her infant daughter, Ellen Bernice; her parents, Enoch and Marjorie MacVicar; father and mother-in-law, Harold and Bernice Redmond; sisters-in-law, Joyce Campbell and Gloria Redmond.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Monday morning, then transferred to St. Pius X Church, Charlottetown, for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m.
If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice Palliative Care Association of P.E.I. or the Canadian Cancer Society.
