Theresa Florence Martin
Stellarton - Theresa Florence (Rose) Martin passed away Saturday October 5, 2013 surrounded by her loving family at the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in New Glasgow, she was the daughter of the late Cameron and Florence (MacIssac) Rose.
Theresa was a loving mother and grandmother who will be sadly missed by her daughter Kimberley, son-in-law David Driscoll and grandchildren, Alex and Eva Rose of Dartmouth and also by her loving grandpet, Boomer. Also surviving are her special aunt Isabel Martin, brothers-in law, Owen (Carol), John Kay (Marg), Cecil (Kenda) Martin and sister-in-law Earla (Stan) Mayich all of Stellarton and several nieces and nephews.
Waiting for her in heaven are her late husband Ernie of 41 years, her parents, brothers Arnold, Alexander, Jack, Vernon and Bernard Rose and sisters Isabel MacLaren, Kay Wadden and Marion MacPherson and her furry companion Simon.
Visitation will be held Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 at the H.W. Angus Funeral Home in New Glasgow. The service will be held at the funeral home chapel Wednesday 11 am with Rev. Charles MacPherson officiating. A reception will follow the service at the funeral home. The burial will take place at the Heatherdale Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Theresa's memory can be made to the SPCA.
