It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one, Mrs. Leah Flynn age 68 years of Musgrave Harbour. Leah passed peacefully away in her residence in Musgrave Harbour surrounded by her family on Saturday, October 5, 2013. Predeceased by her parents Hubert and Winnie Steele; brother Eugene; and mother and father-in-law Mildred and Kenneth Flynn. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband Harold; sons David(Shirley) of Musgrave Harbour, Dean(Jackie Gibbons) of Gander, Denny of Gander and Mark(Jessica Wheaton) of Gander; two daughters Dale Abbott(Keith) of Musgrave Harbour and Dana(Tony Tapper) of St. John's; one brother James Steele(Sandra) of Musgrave Harbour; one sister Laura-Bell(Lolly) Abbott(Dave) of Musgrave Harbour; four sisters-in-law Rose Marie Flynn, Jean Goodyear, Blanche Pope and Melba Pardy(Winston) all of Musgrave Harbour; seven grandchildren Dianna(Blair), Tonya-Lee(Corey), Brittany(Paul), Carly, Amanda, Ashley and Jeremy; two great-grandchildren Gracie-May and Kenny; and a large circle of other relatives and many friends. Funeral service took place on Tuesday, October 8th from The Salvation Army Citadel, in Musgrave Harbour with Majors Barry and Donna Anstey officiating. Interment followed from the The Salvation Army Cemetery in Musgrave Harbour. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of kittiwake Funeral Home in Musgrave Harbour – Wesleyville.
