It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Parsons announces his passing on Friday, October 11, 2013 at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing at the age of 79 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his sister Anna Morris; brother Raymond (Madeline) Parsons, Stephenville Crossing; as well as nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Daniel and Mari Parsons; brother-in-law Fred Morris; niece Christine Parsons. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Monday, October 14, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Stephenville Crossing with Rev. Terry Rose officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flower donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
