The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, September 20, 2008, of Malcolm G. Matheson of Pownal Street, Charlottetown, and formerly of RoseValley, age 88 years. Uncle of Carlyle (Hazel) Newson, Deryl ( Carol Ann) Newson and Arlene (Gordon) Kent, all of Summerside. Predeceased by his parents, Hannah and John D. Matheson, sisters Maude Matheson and Margaret Newson, and his niece, Janet Newson. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel, from where the service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment in Hartsville Cemetery.
