Suddenly at Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, of Leonard Ira Birt of Pisquid, age 77 years.
Beloved husband of Edith Birt (nee Koke) and loving father of Lennie, Myles (Sandra), Danny (Janet), Heather and Crystal Birt, Cherie Clarkin (Glenn) and Christine Buell (Kevin). Leonard is also survived by five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, brother, Roy Birt (Doreen), and the mother of his children, Geraldine Watts. He was predeceased by his parents, Samuel and Annie Birt, sister, Stella Griffin, and brothers, Maurice and Cecil Birt.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home. There will be no public visitation and a private funeral service. Interment will take place at Mount Stewart Peoples Cemetery.
