Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at the Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 of Mrs. Mary C. Ward (nee McGarry) of Charlottetown, age 90 years.
Beloved wife of the Late Lewis A. Ward and dear mother of Captain Lewis (Dianne) Ward, Margaret McAusland (Roy Stieger), Garry (Kelly) Ward and David (Susan) Ward. She is also survived by 13 loving grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Joan Roper (Frank - deceased). She was predeceased by her parents, Bill and Jessie (nee Burke) McGarry; her sister, Blanche Kelly (Preston); and her grandson, Joshua Ward.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home where the service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in the People's Cemetery, Charlottetown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Assoc. or the Alzheimers Society.
