ARSENAULT, ARTHUR JOSEPH - It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Arthur Joseph Arsenault which occurred unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, October 16th, 2013. Born 1936 in Minto, NB, he was the son of the late Freddy and Edna (Boudreau) Arsenault. Arthur worked in construction for many years before retiring in 1996. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, tenting, playing darts and bowling. Arthur will be greatly missed by his loving wife Jacqueline (Robicheau) of 22 years; step-sons Allan Earle (Wanda) of Yarmouth, NS, Kenneth Earle of Moncton, NB; step-daughters Ann Jodoin and Kelly Goguen of Saint John; brothers Edward Arsenault of Red Deer, AB, Freddy Arsenault (Barbara) of Antigonish, NS, Danny Arsenault of Toronto, ON; sisters Viola Lawton (Tom) of Saint John, Doreen Warford (John) of Hampton, Elsie Pearson (Bob) of Quispamsis; step-grandchildren Justin and Jared Earle, Samantha McNeil, Cody and Jessica Potter; as well as nieces, nephews and many friends. Besides his parents, Arthur was predeceased by his sister Dorothy Gibbs.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). As per Arthur’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private family interment will take place in Chipman at a later date. Donations in Arthur’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick, IWK, or the charity of the donor’s choice.
