KNAPPIC (LAMBREGTS), WILHELMINA "WILLY" JOSEPHA MARIA - It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Wilhelmina Josepha Maria (Lambregts) Knappic which occurred unexpectedly at home on Friday, October 18m 2013. Born February 12, 1927 in Amsterdam, Holland. She was the daughter of the late Wilhelmus and Albertina Lambregts. She enjoyed making crafts and arts especially making slippers and toys and baby bonnets for the regional hospital. She was a gallery manager for several years at the Saint John Art Club. She loved meeting people and was liked by all. Wilhelmina will be greatly missed by her loving husband and “soul mate” Angelo of 61 years; son Pascal of Saint John; Helena Berryman (Shane) of Belleisle Creek, NB; brother Ton Lambregts (Karen) of Amsterdam, Holland, Wilhelmus Lambregts (Loes) of Amsterdam, Holland; sister Josephina Lambregts (Hans) of Amsterdam, Holland; special granddaughter the apple of her eye Miranda Hovey (Greg) of Saint John; great grandson Jackson Hovey and great granddaughter Abigail “B” Hovey. Special people and friends from overseas (other family) who immigrated to Canada many years ago; especially good neighbours and friend Bob and Joan Cole. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her step-mother Rosita Lambregts; brothers Hans, Gert, Peter, Jon, Dirk; sister Helena; granddaughter Shana Lee Berryman.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Sunday, October 20 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Monday, October 21, 2013 at 12:10 p.m. Donations in memory of Willy made to the Shana Lee Berryman Memorial Scholarship Fund would be appreciated by the family. www.fundyfuneralhome.com
