FANNING, Christopher Garfield -33, of Chestnut Street, Pictou, died October 18, 2013 in Central Caribou as a result of an ATV accident. Born in Pictou, he was a son of Garfield (Dale) Fanning, of Pictou, and the late Michelle Pineau Clarke. Chris loved mudding on his four wheeler. He is survived by his girlfriend, Terra Purdy; daughter, Christina; step-daughters, Jasmine and Kelsey; step-sons, Konner and Jake; sister, Dawn MacKay; half-brother, Johnson; half-sister, Cheryl; step-sister, April; and step-brother, Jason. Besides his mother, he was predeceased by grandparents, Lois & Lester Fanning. Cremation will take place. Visitation will be held 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Wednesday in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. Funeral will take place 11:00 AM Thursday from Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, Pictou, with Father Gerald Campbell officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
