Karl left peacefully at Burnaby General Hospital on October 18, 2013 surrounded by family. He is predeceased by his soul mate of 62 years, Marion, and grandson, Matthew. He is survived by his eight children: Anne (Tony), Mary (George), Paul (Debbie), Jim (Jennifer), Mark (Glenda), Tom (Patricia), Robert (Joanne), Peter (Christine); 20 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Karl was a retired member of The Society of Management Accountants (CMA) of Saskatchewan. He worked in the forest products industry, raised his family in Ontario and Saskatchewan and retired with Marion to Burnaby, BC. Karl had a keen mind, loved the outdoors, and held friends and family gatherings close to his heart. Whatever activity and wherever he went a cribbage match was sure to break out. He will be dearly missed. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 26th 1:30 pm at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1450 Delta Avenue, Burnaby, BC.
