Edward Joseph Gerrior, age 67, of Fraser’s Mountain, passed away unexpectedly October 21, 2013, at his home.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Edward Francis and Alma C. (Meisner) Gerrior.
Ed had been a resident of Fraser’s Mountain since 1973. He had been employed with Pepsi in New Glasgow for 34 years. Ed was a member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 34 New Glasgow, Pictou County ATV Club, and was very active in selling tickets for the Brookfield Elks Big Game Hunt for some 35 years.
He is survived by daughters Amanda (Freddie), New Glasgow; Stephanie, New Glasgow; sister Eleanor (Richard) McCulloch, Greenhill; brothers-in-law Sandy (Terry) MacKean, Sudbury, Ont.; and Vaughan MacKean, Thorburn.
He was predeceased by his wife the former Glenda MacKean.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles McPherson officiating. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery.
