It is with great sadness that the family of the late MARGARET WALSH of Marystown, formerly of St. Joseph’s, Placentia Bay, announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin, on Tuesday, October 22, 2013, at the age of 66. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are: Daughter - Elizabeth (Shawn) Harding of Burin Bay Arm; Sons - Vincent (Donna Brenton) of St. John’s, and Glenn (Joanne Melvin) of Conception Bay South; Grandchildren - Jenna, Kaitlyn, Caroline, Christina, Sarah & Sydney; Brothers - Pius (Alice) Brown of St. John’s, Jim Brown of Vancouver, Len (Priscilla) Brown of Parker’s Cove, Pad Brown of Mortier, George Brown of Mortier, Bern (Melva) Brown of Burin Bay; Brother-in-law - Ignatius Brennan of Marystown; Sister-in-laws - Elizabeth Doody of Dunville and Francis Mitchell of Marystown; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Predeceased by: Husband - Vincent; Parents - Leo and Elizabeth Brown; Sisters - Carrie Hanrahan, Marie Newman and Mamie Brennan; Brother - Charl Brown.

Resting and visitation took place from Wiseman’s Funeral Homes in Marystown, on Thursday, October 24th from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.; and Friday, October 25th from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial took place on Saturday, October 26th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. from Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown. Interment followed at The Roman Catholic Cemetery in Little Bay. Flowers gratefully accepted.
