Marie passed away peacefully on Thursday at the Miners Memorial Manor, Sydney Mines.
She was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Branch 83.
Surviving are sisters Colleen, Bernadette and Judy; son Bernie; daughter Annette (Blair), Francine (Glen) and Natalie (Jim) as well as 10 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and special friend Shirley Pentcost.
Marie was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Bill; sons Billy and Michael and Brother Frankie.
Visitation will take place from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. on Monday October 28, at Francis Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Parish (formerly St. Pius X Church), Sydney Mines on Tuesday
October 29, at 10 a.m.
