DOYLE, EDWARD - It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Edward George Doyle, which occurred on Friday October 25, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1935 in Saint John, he was the son of the late Edward and Florence (Ryan) Doyle. Edward was a faithful board member to the Fundy Funeral Home, Saint John Art Club, Fundy Camera Club, Lupus NB, Kidney Foundation and the Simonds Co-op. He worked for many years at Irving Paper as a draftsman. He is survived by his sons Adam of Stoney Creek, NB, and Peter (Sabrina) of Saint John; daughter Cassandra (Kevin) Pickard of Riverview, NB; sister Shirley (Gerald) Moore of Cambridge Narrows, NB; grandchildren Ryan, Vanessa, Anthony, Justin and Jennifer; great-grandchildren Kailyn, Cameron and Connor and special friend Colleen Beesley. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his late wife Lorraine (Spears).
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd. Saint John (646-2424). In keeping with Edward’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
