It is with great sadness that the family of Barbara Jardine announce her passing on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 88.She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Bruce Jardine, Karen & her husband Ralph Holyoke, Richard Jardine& wife Kathleen; grandchildren: Kelly & husband John Janes, Daniel, Nathan, Matthew and Scott; great grandchildren David, Shelby& Sarah Janes .Barbara came to Corner Brook in 1951 as a young nurse. She quickly came to love her adopted home of Newfoundland soon meeting Cliff, the love of her life and husband of 54 years who passed away in 2006. Barbara 's passions were her family and the joy she took from her artistic pursuits. She will be deeply missed by all her loved ones.Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 30th at 11:00 a.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Home Chapel, 4 St. Marks Avenue Reverend Harry Whitehorne officiating, followed by the interment at Mt.
