Passed peacefully away at the Long Term Care Centre in the presence of her loving family, Annie Matchim on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at the age of 89 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters: Eva Peyton (Gary) and Sheila Bennett (David); daughter-in-law Irene Matchim; grandchildren: Andrew Matchim (Paula), Stephen Peyton, Todd Matchim (Theresa) and Melissa Bennett; great-grandchildren: Donald Matchim, Thor and Titus Matchim; sisters-in-law: Gertie Dyke (James) and Drucella Penney; special friends: Annie Stevenson, Enid Pevie, Gertie Russell and Catherine Young; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Chesley Matchim (2004) and son Clyde (1993). Visitation will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 30 at 10:30 a.m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence Street with Rev. Tanya White officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to All Saints Church or WMRH Long Term Care.
