NOFTELL, HELEN MARY - Helen Mary Noftell, wife of the late Malcolm E. Noftell passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on October 29, 2013. Born February 8, 1940 in South Bathurst, NB, the daughter of the late Ida (Lavigne) and Lawrence Bizeau. She is survived by daughters Fernan Butts (Max) of Saint John, Rose Mary Wilson (Kevin) of Baxter’s Corner, and Brenda Lee Hay (Dave) of Burton, NB; son Malcolm of Cumberland Bay, NB; brothers Nelson (Louise) of Alberta, Harold of Saint John, Lawrence Jr. and Donald of Ontario; sisters Marie Cyr (Douglas) of Saint John and Connie Cyr (Lawrence) of Baxter’s Corner; grandchildren Amie Hay, Ian Butts, Keith Hay, Jeremy Wilson, Adam Wilson, and Andre Noftell; great-grandchildren Faith, Dylan, Jensen, Zoey and Kieran; several cousins nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by husband Malcolm E. Noftell and sisters Anita Rogers and Jeannette Roy.
Arrangements under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road. (646-2424) with visiting Friday, November 1 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 4347 Loch Lomond Road, Saint John, NB on Saturday, November 2 at 9:00 AM. Donations in Helen's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Loch Lomond Head Start or the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
