DICK, J. BRUCE - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of J. Bruce Dick, 66, of Riverview, at his residence on Tuesday, October 29, 2013. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Walter and Jean (O’Hanley) Dick. Bruce was an avid football fan and was a former player with Moncton High School and UNB. He loved to dance, golf, curl, and boat (preferably fast). Bruce was an original; a character. Anyone who knew him knows he loved to talk and had fantastic stories to tell, often with a mischievous smile. His dry wit kept us all entertained. Bruce was loyal and honest. Although he appeared to have a hard exterior, he was a teddy bear. He loved large and was loved deeply. Bruce will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 33 years, Beth (McLeod) Dick; loving children, Shelley Nicholson (Ian) of Hartland, Kristen Dick (Glenn Coltman) of East Dover, NS, Jill Dick of Moncton and a son Aaron; precious grandchildren, Jacob, Isaac, Eli and Zoë; brother, Stuart (Tara) of Qatar and one nephew, Craig; and his many cousins. Thank you Bruce/Dad/Grampie for all the wonderful memories.
